Tent section: Because we have to wait till the ground in the tent section is dry enough, the tent camping season starts on May 15th, 2026, and end on October 15th, 2026.
The park is located 5 miles north of the town center of Klamath, California, and 14 miles south of Crescent City and only minutes from many recreational and exploration activities. The campground is located 3 minutes from the ocean and very close to the different Redwood National and State Parks.

RV sites
Standard RV Sites (for RVs 32ft and under): $50/night for 2 people (+tax)
Premium RV Sites (any size RVs): $60/night for 2 people (+tax)
$4 per additional person over the age of 5
1 RV + 1 car, $6 per additional car

$36/night for tent sites #15, #20, #21 and #22
Number of people per tent site:
Up to 6 people per tent site, except:
– tent site #15 which can accommodate up to 12 people
– tent site #20 up to 10 people
– and sites #4, #19B and #19C up to 4 people (those are smaller sites)
1 car per site (except site #15 and 20, 2 cars), $6 per additional car

Gift and coffee shop (we serve espresso), some groceries, game room, mini golf, clean restrooms, hot showers, laundry room and acres of hiking, and beautiful, unique nature surrounded by Northern California coastal redwood trees.
Mystic Forest is a good old-fashion, family-friendly and pet-friendly campsite in the redwoods. We have a playground for kids, horseshoes, a dog run for the furry four-legged friends, and a trail in the forest. We are not a black-top park, spots are directly on the grass or ground.
